Document request enables you to ask applicants to provide:
Identity documents
Wage slips
Bank statements
An Open Banking connection
These requests are made directly from the dashboard. Consequently, there's no need to send a separate email or make a telephone call. Everything is conveniently held in the decision engine.
When an applicant uploads a document an alert is sent to a nominated email address.
If a document arrives when you're currently viewing that decision, you'll need to 'refresh' your browser in order to view the uploaded items. Go into the address bar and click return.
Please note that this feature is available for applications received online only. It is an extension to NestEgg's Workflow service.
Request identity documents
Requests can be made for identity documents by clicking the ID tab and selecting 'request ID documents':
Once clicked a dialogue box appears. The 'reason for request' free text line is for an optional internal note. This note does not add any text to the email that is subsequently sent to the applicant.
Once the applicant clicks a link in their email they are taken to a landing page. If the applicant hasn't received the email, ask them to check their junk folder.
From here they enter their name and select which documents they are uploading. These documents can be in .jpg, .png and .pdf formats. This includes pictures taken directly from a mobile device.
Once documents have been uploaded, a confirmation email is sent to a designated email address at the lender. This includes a link directly to the decision in the dashboard.
