When reviewing the search history of an applicant, you will be shown the Search Purpose code.
Below is a table showing each of the codes possible and their corresponding "value". The search purpose will allow you to determine whether or not search constitutes a greater risk or not.

For example a search type of DC - Debt Collection might be considered differently than a CI - Credit Insurance or a IQ - Identification Product (Non-credit).
