Introduction
Export to .pdf enables a user to create a .pdf of the decision. Afterwards, this can be appended to a member file in a core system.
Export to .pdf is available for both Pass and Fail ID only decisions but is only available for credit applications that have been accepted.
To export an ID Only decision
To export the ID only checks, view the decision and click the 'Export PDF' button.
A summary of the applicant's details, their ID score and any additional documents that have been uploaded to prove ID, will be exported to the .pdf
Extracting ID check data from an ID Credit decision (where an ID check and a credit check were performed at the same time), you must first accept the application. Once excepted you can then export the loan and ID decision data.
To extract the ID tabs only, firstly open the full .pdf. Secondly from your .pdf software select 'print to .pdf' and select just those pages you wish to export. For ID documents, this is most often pages 1 to 4.
This will then create a new .pdf with only the applicant summary information and ID pages present.

βNote: If you wish to refuse the loan application but accept the membership application, you must accept the entire decision in order to follow the steps above. Once the ID only data has been extracted, you can then update the decision to decline.
To export a Credit decision
The option to export to .pdf requires the loan to be given a final accept status. Once this status has been applied the option to export to .pdf appears:
Export to .pdf
Once clicked a .pdf version of the decision will be created.
Each page in the .pdf will contain a copy of each tab in the dashboard. This will include the spending tab if Open Banking has been used.
Additionally, any ID documents uploaded by the applicant will be exported.
The export does not include bank statements or account numbers / sort codes which are displayed in the spending tab. This is to minimise the export of sensitive information.
Data retention
All information in the NestEgg dashboard has a data retention policy linked to it. This is configurable. The default is that all applications that are withdrawn or declined have personal identifiable information removed after 90 days.
Accepted loan applications are retained for the term of the loan plus one year.
ID checks, whether fail or pass have the personal identifiable information removed after 90 days.
When exporting to .pdf, these retention policies are no longer enforceable as the data has left the dashboard. Consequently, you will need to ensure that you comply with your own data retention policies and GDPR.
In particular the requirements to minimise the amount of data that is stored about an individual and to ensure that it is only kept for as long as is appropriate to that purpose.
