Introduction

When you select the decisions page you can filter decisions. This makes it easier to manage your workload.

Decisions can be filtered by:

  • Number of decisions

  • Search

  • Status

  • Source

  • Date

The filters relate to each other. Therefore if you filter a decision by date, you can also filter it by source. For example you may want to see all website applications in the last week.

Assigned to

To help you easily prioritise the decisions you review, you can filter to the decisions that are assigned to yourself (me), everyone (all) or unassigned.

The dots (grey and blue) mean different things and are also used in the OB and Docs columns. This short video offers a concise explanation as to what each means:

Number of decisions

To help you manage your workload, you can select the number of decisions to display in the decision list. This filter works in conjunction with the other filters, such as date, source and status, and could be useful for distributing outstanding work.

Search

The search function allows you more precision with the results in the decision list. Simply type in the data you would like to search for and then click the magnifying lens.

For example you may wish to only view applications for a specific person, so can search for their name, you may only wish to see decisions where the applicant has a credit score of 561, or applications for £10,000 outstanding from last month.

Status

Status shows decisions, depending on whether they relate to loans, ID only checks or referrals from the NestEgg app.

To understand the above loan statuses, this article should be read together with the documentation about loan final status.

Date

Decisions can be filtered according to date range:

Selecting an option restricts the decisions shown to that period. For example if it is 20th May and 'this month' was selected, all applications since 1st May would be shown.

Source

Decisions can also be filtered according to from where the application originated.

Selecting dashboard will display decisions that have been entered directly into the decision engine using the 'assess' function.

Website will show all those applications that have been received online.

App will show applications that have arrived from the NestEgg app. Referrals are made to the credit union from your own previously declined applications or directly from another source, e.g. a bank or building society.

This service is expected to launch in September 2021. App referrals require sign up and so will only be available to participating lenders.

All-New

This is all of the decisions relating to loans, ID checks or referrals.

Loans

New

All loan applications received that have not had a final status confirmed will be displayed. This is, in effect, your to do list.

Final loan statuses are confirmed accept, confirmed decline and withdrawn. You can read more about final status here.

ID only checks will show in the pass or fail view.

Accepted

Loans that have been confirmed as accepted will be displayed. Recommended accepts will be shown in pending until a final status has been applied.

All confirmed accepts will show the manual decision as accept.

Declined

Loans that have been confirmed as declined will be displayed. Recommended declines will be shown in pending until a final status has been applied.

All confirmed declines will show the manual decision as decline.

Withdrawn

Applications that have been withdrawn are displayed. Withdrawn applications are those that result from non-contact with the borrower or where the applicant has specifically told the lender that they no longer want the loan.

Once the loan has been withdrawn, its status cannot be subsequently changed.

ID

Fail

Failed cases are those where the applicant did not pass the initial electronic ID check or they may have failed the Bank Owner check.

An applicant may have subsequently provided documentation to prove their identity but this does not alter the original decision. However if the applicant uploaded identity documents, these are displayed in the ID tab. They can be exported to .pdf.

Pass

These are applications where the individual passed the electronic ID and Bank Owner checks.

Referrals

Referrals will show applications that have arrived from the NestEgg app. Referrals are made to the credit union from your own previously declined applications or directly from another source, e.g. a bank or building society.

This service is expected to launch in September 2021. App referrals require sign up and so will only be available to participating lenders.

New

New applications that have been referred are shown. You'll be able to choose to review or reject them.

Approved

When the app is launched this will list the loans that have been referred and accepted.

Rejected

When the app is launched this will list the loans that have been referred and accepted.
